It is in several pieces, and it is very fragile. It would be very expensive to raise it.
------edit---------
Most temples don't have dead people in it. Some people feel that it should be left where it is as a memorial.

On the moral side: no. The wreck site is a graveyard for the 1,200 people that died when the ship sank. Raising the ship would be tantamount to desecrating a graveyard.
On the technical side: Absolutely not, for several reason:
1. Depth. The ship is at such a depth (2 1/2 miles down) that the only way to reach the ship is with deep submersible submarines. It is physically impossible for a diver to survive outside the submersible at that depth, and the task of raising the ship could not be accomplished from within the confines of a submersible.
2. Condition of the wreck. The wreck is in two pieces scattered over a debris field of nearly a mile. The ship would have to be lifted by hand as it would not be able to be made watertight and floated to the surface.
3. Deterioration of the metal. The ships has been rusting at the bottom of the ocean for 95 years, and the steel hull of the ship is now so fragile that to attempt to pick it up would inevitably cause the ship's total destruction.
A nice idea, but totally and irrevocably impracticle and impossible.

That issue has been brought up many times and dismissed. Why? Because this is a huge gravesite. And while artifacts have been brought to the surface, and more will be, the entire ship has not been raised because of the public outcry that it is a gravesite and should not be disturbed anymore than it already has been. Some sunken ships have been raised using inflatable devices that are placed inside the hulls, or attached to the larger pieces and then inflated enough to raise the boat or object to the surface. Perhaps one day the Titanic will be raised. Interesting thought.

i think they should raise the titanic and not leave it in the past. they have rescued ships that are over 500 years old so why won't they raise a ship that is nearly 95? even if the titanic is too far down, they could have a go at raising it. i find the titanic a very interesting subject and love to watch new documentaries on it.

by utilizing now, it would probable no longer be obtainable. The deliver is in an particularly broken down state, after very almost one hundred years. despite if there grew to become right into a fashion and it does not smash, there is rather no factor. they have taken many artefacts and salvaged what they might from the wreckages, yet for all the money and hardship that it would take for this type of huge activity, then it would probable no longer be well worth pulling a rotten hunk of metallic from the sea floor. additionally, to a lot of human beings, quite kin or descendants of people who perished that evening, it is viewed disrespectful to drag up the deliver an the bodies from their resting place.

Yes it would be possbile, I think they'd use a huge crane on a ship or something. There was talk a couple years back of them doing it but too many people thought it would be wrong and it was best to leave it where it is, it is history after all.

It may be possible but as the titanic is in more than one piece it would be not only expensive but very difficult to do .

It is always possible. The difficulties can be overcome...but why? Its so fragile that raising it might well destroy it...not to mention oxidization that would render whatever did rise into dust....best left as it is...
