he was in the Army. While trying to make things better for the people he was put in Jail where he wrote a book that was a best seller at the time. He rose through the ranks of his party and was able to completely wiipe out inflation in his country by putting people back to work and then he staved off a serious depression by being instrumental in the development of the country and economy. He did not smoke or drink in excess.

He never lied to the people and years after his death was voted as one of the greatest statemen of the last century.

Any guesses as who it was?

Hitler had a very charismatic personality. In his speeches he looks like a maniac, unless you understand German. The Nationalist-Socialist (Nazi) party rose to power during the Great Depression. People tend to think the depression only happened in the U.S., but actually it was worldwide. Hitler's early speeches, before being elected focused on the fears that citizens of non-German descent were taking away jobs from those of pure German heritage. Thus many Germans believed that electing Hitler was going to save their country. In a way it did. Only they had to get bombed into submission first.

It's Hitler, of course. Seen this before, I have.
What's real about that? Why do people demand men with squeaky clean records be elected?
That's already a lie when they say they're clean. Who in their lives has honestly never had a drink, smoked a cigarette or even weed? How can you support someone that's never lived or taken a risk?

If FascFiter is correct, then your statement that he never lied to the people is a fallacy.

So he didn't smoke or drink. So he wiped out inflation (a myth, BTW). He also showed himself to be an extremely racist individual who should never, ever have been trusted.

I don't support racism or racists.

Adolf Hitler.

You forgot to state that he died a virgin. That ought to impress Christians who are political.
