i let my freind wear my spandex and now it is to big on me is there any way you can shrink spandex i need to know as soon as possible!!!

Wash in hot water, dry on high heat...spandex usually goes back to original size unless stretched too far!

You cannot shirnk spandex, but if it is combined with cotton you can shrink that componet of the garment by washing it in hot water and then drying it in they dryer. If it has something else mixed in it then you are stuck with a stretched out garment.

The only way to shrink the shorts is to have them altered. If you know how to sew, you can do it yourself. If not, many dry cleaners alter clothes. If you machine dry spandex, it ruins it. The shorts will looks worn out and might even get bigger. If it is that important to you that your shorts are a size 00, have them altered. Hope this helps. -

try washing the garment in hot water and drying them for an hour. . .it should atleast shrink back down to size ;-\

My sis stretched mine out and I shrunk them by using really hot water and drying them on the hottest setting.

ive tried and nope! lol my sis borrowed mine and stretched them, i would say dont let anyone borrow them but if you must i would buy spanx. they dont stretch.
