I'm experimenting with graphics in VB6 I have drawn a square, using the line function in a picture and rotated it but each square overlays itself on the previously draw square. How do I erase the old square when a new one has been drawn?

Thanks in advance

Andy

Well, you could save the points of the previous square in a couple of variables and draw it again using the background color, before you place the next square.

Try picture1.clear to remove the square from the picture

highlite it and select delete. you should be able to hold down the mouse buttons left and drag around it creating a box the then you can select what you want to do with it.
