im 13 years old and i really want to be a nba player when i grow up i know it wont happen but i want to know how i can become a sports announcerfor espn or a news anchor for sports thanx

start small and work your way up. Do high school announcing, then announce for minor leuges. if u play ur cards right, eventually u should be able to become a major leuge announcer

They are horrible because first of all they are trying to use the World;s biggest stage to teach people about the sport, like explain offsides a million times. They also have baseball announcers making comments about FOOTBALL(I dont lke the word soccer) They do not capture the excitement of the game, they do not have enough knowledge to judge the game, analyze it or make proper comments about players' form graphic, or their talent level. Come on now, we are talking about announcers, who thought Landon Donovan was as good as Ronaldinho, and in reality this player could not play in a second division in like Poland. I am not even saying second division in Italy, England or Spain where the club competiton is very strong. I live in the US too, and with my limited Spanish try to watch Univision, the excitement the announcers bring to the table is even enough not to watch ESPN. Though I may not understand all they are saying on Univision I still get into the game more.

You will have to do better than Evan Backstabber i mean Baxter (in bruce almighty) ... to be a sport news anchor. w/c means you have to become a real a_s_s_h_o_l_e
