Tragic in the sense of sad-has to be Elton John 'Candle In The Wind' from Princess Diana's funeral. I only every played it the once, just too sad. Beautiful song though, for a beautiful lady.

I used to be a fan of 80's electronic stuff - sad i know. The most tragic has to be The Very Best of Midge Ure & Ultravox.Still can't seem to get shot of it tho, that's the saddest part!

My Chemical Romance's I Brought You my Bullets, You brought me Your Love and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. Both were done during a time in Gerard's life when he was suffering from depression and alchoholism. It is so sad, and it reflects in the sort of angst in the music.

Avril Lavigne - Let Go.
But in my defence. I was 12 when it came out.
Regretfully I still can sing along to the songs.
