i just bought the new ipod with video and tv and i was wondering where's the best site to get these things? also i heard if you download off of itunes you can't use those songs for say burning a cd which i like to do.

I don't think any are free, but some only have a small 1-time fee and let you download videos.

Itunes
You can burn a CD from Itunes also. Just make a playlist and click burn cd in the upper right hand corner.

Well I personally think the best place is Bearshare. It's a free program that lets you download video and music for the cost of nothing! And to get them into your ipod you just import them from their files on the computer into I Tunes. Good Luck!
