Hi
I'm a clothing designer from London and have been trying to find UK clothing manufacturers to make my designs. I've found some on the net and contacted them but out of 4 not one of them replied to me! Is this because i'm just a small business??? Can anyone advise??

Maybe you asked a manufacturer that's too big. If your job is too small for them they might not waste time saying no. And I wouldn't do business with someone you have to chase anyway - it will be more hassle than it's worth.
Go to some shops stocking your type of clothes (ie: small independent designers) and find out who makes theirs.

if you only contacted 4 then you need to put a lot more effort in I'm afraid.find the manufactures on the net or phone book and get round there,if you don't then sorry but you are doomed. the only other place that might give you a hand is the local college who do designs for a course
