I'm looking at a violin case to buy, But they have this weird messerment system. 1/16 1/10 4/4 1/2 1/4 3/4 1/8. Can any one tell me how long that is in CM. or IN. Or what that all means. Thanks

4/4 is the regular sized adult violin. If you are about 5' 4 or taller you want that one. shorter than 5', you want a 1/2. Between these twoo, you want a 3/4. 1/16 is for three year olds learning to play. (NOte: all measurements are approximations, and I am NOT, repeat, NOT a professional sizer.)
