Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and the Show Updates box at the top. When the list loads, find Internet Explorer 7 and click Yes to remove it. After removal, close Control Panel and restart the computer for the change to take effect. It will revert back to IE6. And yes, most of us who have tried this have done the same thing!

just remove it using add remove programs and your old version will roll back by itself.
I personally leave it as it is , maybe it will get some updates to get fixed , in the mean time i am using the Free browser firefox which is safer and faster and it doesn't need to verify that your windows is original , it even doesn't need to restart your computer .
