I like it but I would spell it the way folks expect to see it. Brooklyn. Its cool and cute!
Best wishes to you!

It makes me immediately think of the Beckhams son Brooklyn. I think most people in UK will also immediately think the same thing, and most people in the US will think of the place in NY right?
I really like the name Brooke though. If that's what you want her to be called I'd just stick with it on it's own. Coming from someone whose parents wanted her known by a shortened version of her long name, but still gave her a long name, I definitely get fed up with saying 'It's ... but I go by...'
Or have Lynn as an extra middle name. If you have a short-ish last name it won't matter to much. So Brooke Ann Lynn. Or Ann-Lynn or Lynn-Ann.
Personally I'd go for Brooke Ann Lastname on it's own. I think it's very pretty.
Congrats on the pregnancy.

I absolutly LOVE the name, except spelled Brooklyn. I would be using this name for my baby due in a few days if it weren't for my husband not liking the name b/c he thinks it's the name of a city, not of a child *rolling eyes*. I love the combo Brooklyn Ann. Honestly, at a glance the spelling Brookelynn looks like "Broke Lynn"...I guess that's a trick on the eyes. And also if you put Brooke and Lynn together I would pronounce it as "Brooke Lynn" (emphasis on each name individually) and not "Brooklyn" as a whole name. Know what I mean? But all spellings aside, I love the combo!

It sounds pretty but it's a Loooong name for a 5-6 yr old to spell.
Why don't you both browse a baby name site & see if you can agree on something else. Every name I hear ends with a lynn or lyn. It's just my opinion the choice is yours & fiancees.
Most important is you have a safe delivery & a healthy baby girl.
Congratulations!

I like Brooklyn. It's short and pretty. Brookelynn is way too long, and I don't think it looks as nicely written out. Also, if she ever wants to get anything personalized, a lot of companies will only go up to 8 letters. It sounds trivial, but I ran into a lot of problems ordering things for my friend's bridal shower because her name had 9 letters.

I would advise against Brookelynn cuz it sounds like the city. stop thinking of yourself and think of yer child and stick with brooke, and maybe have lynn as a middle name...

your daughter is not a city... either name her Brooke Ann or Lynn Ann. That Brookelynn sounds a lil over board.
and plus... you dont want your child to hate you when she grows up
