No, it is not possible. I see a lot of people bringing in the war with this, like Christians can't fight a war. That is just no so...there can be a time for killing.

The way you worded the question states how you want it to be answered. You can be Christian and think for yourself, although generally speaking as a whole I can see why you would be against abortion. I believe that it is a woman's choice, and if it is morally wrong that is between them and God. We are not meant to judge people. As for your comment about abortion being big business, I think that is a horrible assessment. What about the lives that are saved by some of this research. If the women are going to abort the fetuses anyways, don't you think that their existence shouldn't be in vain? As an unborn baby with no sin, they go directly into Gods hands regardless.

Even though one might be a very conservative Christian, an educated one will realize that he or she has nothing to say about the morals of other people. You are supposed to love yourself, your family and your neighbor--but you can't tell your neighbor what to do--just as he or she can't tell you what to do.
Did you know that after normal births the afterbirth is also used commercially? It is!
Not all people believe that a newly conceived fetus (not even a fetus yet) is a person. Some believe that if rape, incest, etc. has occurred, that a rapid abortion is in order--so that the child will not have birth defects--or be hated for its entire life.
Yes, you can be a Christian and yet support someone who has an abortion for a good reason. Personally, I would prefer to see the children born and given to couples who cannot have children, but it is not my call!!!

He does not help abortion, he helps a girl's extraordinary to elect. curiously you're too thick to appreciate this concept. He helps stem cellular analyze, hardly ever a style of "harmless unborn little ones." yet you will help the mass killing of 'casualties of conflict' for *needed & wholesome* little ones in Iraq, Afghanistan, Darfur, etc., etc.? Your rhetoric is what's inhumane. i'm hoping you by no ability be afflicted by Parkinson's or Alzheimers, which stem cellular analyze would desire to probably alleviate. and that i'm hoping you by no ability have a daughter or spouse who gets impregnated via rape. i think of you will finally end up changing your evaluations rather without postpone.

To your main question so to speak the answer is no.You can't support the slaughter of unborn children and call yourself a Christian in my view.
Now thing is I don't see abortion as that. The alternative is outlawing it.Every society that did that still had abortions in unsafer settings. It's like war.Christians can't be for that.If you wanna be a Christian and follow Jesus you can't support any war.Yet war is in this unholy time sometimes the only thing that can prevent even worse atrocities so even Christians sometimes accept that wars happen. We're not glad about them.We pray they happen very rare and are over quick and do everything to prevent them and try to limit the damage as much as possible.
Abortion is something similar for me.In this unholy world they will happen sometimes and then i prefer a safe and legal setting although I regret every one and will do anything possible to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

What does Christianity have to do about slaughter of unborn children? What is a Christian? Do not give me the rhetoric of the bible which is really translations of translations of translations of written and tales told since the crucifixion of some old time tele vangelists and ministers. You are against the slaughter of unborn children but not against the slaughter of men, women, and children in Africa and the middle east?

No, and is it possible to be a Christian and support the slaughter of already born children? The message of Jesus, if anything at all, is about having a profound Respect For All Life, and any Christian who is passionate about abortion yet supports the bombing of other peoples cities and homes, needs to reexamine their beliefs. Either the message has universal meaning, or it doesn't have any meaning at all.

It is the height of hypocrisy for a person to proclaim himself a Christian and then say he's anything other than strictly pro-life.
I agree with you regarding the second part of your question as well. What possible reason is there to be against abortion, other than the realization that it kills aliving human being? If that's the case, why SHOULD a woman have a choice regarding the situation? She doesn't get to "choose" whether or not she should rob a bank, does she?

no it is not possible, one of the commandments is thou shalt not kill, how can you get around that!!!! There are other scriptures to point out that a unborn baby is a person, the scriptures also tell that the life is in the blood, at 6 weeks, a baby has a heart beat and blood flowing, most women do not know they are pregnant until 6 weeks or longer.

abortion is wrong that is how I feel, I pray for those who exploit any aspect of this situation for any reason. I was born with brown eyes and fair skin and my mothers nose, however I was not born with the right to take human life for any reason. That power is in God's hands, not mine. It is not for me to say weather a human life is to be terminated, I could not live with that.
That being said, I will not stand in judgment of another for their beliefs. I will instead pray for them and their choices and the fate of the unborn. I cannot force my beliefs on another, I can only show in the way I live my life and how I treat others. Please do not mistake my prayer for pity, that is not the case.
