Here is the sitatuion:
120GB won't load windows XP.
Moved the 120GB to another desktop w/80GB Hard Drive
120GB (bad one) is on slave; 80GB (good one) is on master.
BIOS can identify both HDs; the problem is; it won't go to the windows.

Setting on the boot priority is set to 1st boot the 80GB (good one).
I suspect that the 120GB (bad) is affecting the windows XP OS.

It will be normal if I take out the 120GB HD.

I am trying to backup the important files (students' grade)......from that 120GB (it's IDE)

Hope someone can help me with a solution other than asking students' grade.

Have you tried just putting both of the hard drives on seperate ide channels both set to master (SINGLE DRIVE). Make sure that they are both set to single/master and not cable select or anything funky...
