Huh?

MS DOS is an operating system, now considered obsolete (although still existent at the core of Windows).

MS Word is a word processor.

Neither are a programming language. MS DOS has a "batch" language and MS Word has a macro language. They are very different.

MSDOS isn't a programming language. it is only a series of instructions lots of that were pinched from Unix. the nearest you'll get to 'programming' in DOS is to create and run a batch report. it is only a chain of instructions that are finished sequentially from the report.
