If you mean DVD movies, you will have to get an application to do that. There is a free one available called Handbrake. You insert the DVD and use the application to select the files from the DVD, then convert them to usable files for iPod. You can also do the same from ripped DVD files. You can rip DVDs to your computer with a free application like Mac the Ripper. Then you don't have to keep the DVD in your disk drive when you convert to iPod-compatible movie files. You can find those applications through Google, as well as directions on how to use them. A great guide can be found at

To transfer movies:
1.Connect your iPod to your computer.
2.When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window, select it.
3.Click the Summary tab and then do one of the following:
To manage videos manually, select "Manually manage music and video." Then drag movies from iTunes to iPod.
To automatically update videos, deselect "Manually manage music and video," click the Movies tab, select "Sync movies," and then choose other options.
