It's b/c the way you pronounce J in Spanish is not the same as J in English. It's just like when you are trying to pronounce SHOE and CHAD, it sounds the same b/c sh in spanish doesn't exist.

Their letter "J" is not pronounced the same as it is in the English language. That doesn't bother me as much as when black people spell something and say "aura" for the letter 'r'.

because in Spanish a "J" makes a "Y" sound. They are pronouncing the J - just not the same way you do.
