1 point

why would it be worth 2?

it's worth however much the shot taken is worth. If it happened on a 3 pointer it would be 3 points.

A goaltend is just like making the shot so you'd count the freethrow as a made basket and freethrows are worth 1 point.

Goaltending is an illegal blocked shot, the points that the should have scored is what is awarded. It could be 1, 2, or 3 points even though it would be hard, but not impossible, to goal tend a free throw (1 point).

YOU CANT GOALTEND A FREE THROW if you knew anything about basketball you would realize that. And if you did do that it would be a violation and depending on where you are playing or what level you are playing on it will be either a re do of the free throw or it will be counted as 1 point(NOT 2)

You can easily goal tend a free throw without receiving a lane violation, players can enter the lane as soon as the shot leaves a player's hands, and then either block the shot on its way down or touch it while it is still in the cylinder. The result is 1 point for defensive goaltending, or a voided shot for offensive basket interference.

It is worth 1 point for each throw. If you shoot from inside the arching line 24 feet away from the basket it is worth 2 points and if you shoot beyond the 3 point line it is worth 3 points hence the name 3 pointer.

i think of basketball field objectives are properly worth 2 factors by using fact loose throws are properly worth one element and loose throws are extra basic to make than field objectives. So in case you made FGs properly worth a million element, you may could make loose throws be properly worth a million/2 a element which could be extra complicated. So i assume thats why FGs are properly worth 2 factors.
