Hubby and I are planning a trip in mid-April. As we expect this to be one and only baseball game we attend in our lives, we don't mind paying for good seats (short of Suite tickets!). I would like to hear from people who have sat in the 'Hit It Here Cafe' or Terrace Club seats. How was the view? The extra service?

Mahalo!

Safeco is a great ballpark to watch a game. For people wanting to see the spectacle of a ballgame, and aren't really following the teams/game, I agree with the assessment of sitting at the "Hit It Here Cafe". Decent food, great views, but, you'll be blinded by the sun around 6:00PM in the summer (just depends on the start time of the game)...

First base you will have a view of the field and of downtown and closest to RF where Ichiro plays. Personally, I like that side the best. Third base side has a good view of the field but you will be looking back toward the rolling roof. Above the Bullpens in the bleachers is cool and a party if you are into that, nice view back of the stadium, but far from homeplate. My favorite part of the park is the Club Level (200s) on the 3rd base side. Great view of the game, of Seattle, and better food than 100s or 300s. Worth the money. Good luck
