Americans are too damn ignorant and stubborn to comprehend that communism works.

Workers under communism rule have only to work a limited amount of the year, then they can just kick back and not worry about having to work the rest of the year, so at some time production falls off and people just stop caring.

About health care and such, insurrance companies are mainly the responsible parties for us not having free health care. That and hospitals that want to make a profit. Oh, and then there are those that don't pay their bill. All of this means that costs have to be off set to pay for the free loaders and those that charge way to much.

Profit and greed = no free ride

Communism = lacking in economic gains

The Communists were not free people. They could not travel, worship, or do many other things that we take for granted. If they were given a job, they needed to stick with that job--there was not an option for quitting, or changing jobs.

They were fed a whole lot of negative propaganda about the "free" world, particularly the US.

Yes, they were equal as far as medical care, etc. go--but no one could get ahead. They could not do what they wished to do in thier own homes.

I had not heard that Dubya was giving the people of Iraq free college educations--I will look into that, as he needs to be worrying about the people of his "Homeland" first. There are still lots of starving and homeless people right here.

i do no longer hate it. I do exactly no longer like it. It only leaves too many open areas for broken opportunities. Like some would have already mentioned, it works super for the government yet incredibly damaging for the folk. only because of the fact China is sturdy at preserving that is status quot on the project, does not inevitably advise that they even like it. the only rationalization why that's stored Communist-clever is by that is inhabitants overflow. to boot, China (human beings) is beginning as much as see in a greater democratic view now because of the fact of how that's. till you truly know the thank you to exact dispute human nature, perfection and equality won't ensue. those with ability are additionally constrained to as a techniques because of the fact the guy sweeping the floor popular for something of his existence. you think of the guy who can stand likes that? additionally, I do exactly like the type you tried to intend the Jamestown allegory, regardless of the undeniable fact that that's used extremely incorrectly as an occasion. For them on the time, it became into only only animal nature at that element.working jointly for a straightforward purpose, which became into undemanding survival as an area. they did no longer also have a sensible government working, so which you are able to not even quite call that Communism in all admire. So lower back, i do no longer hate it. I do exactly no longer consider it.

Communism doesn't reward hard work. Without incentive, people tend to be unmotivated and produce/succeed less than what they would if there were something more in it for them. Not to mention, in reality there is graft and corruption in most Communist societies. Those in power receive much more than the peasants, so the utopian ideal of everything being shared equally is a myth. Communism (as it has been practiced) also quells free speech and religion expression at the point of a gun.

try living under a communist party system for a while and you will gladly give up your desires to be a commie, and your health care is also forgotten, you will be looking for a way to get something to eat instead, remember , there is nothing free, some one has got to pay the Piper,
I know how some people can become disillusioned when they see our gov, give free medical , welfare to others and that is a form of Communism could be desirable, and that is why we have so many on our welfare rolls for generations , but , that will haft to end and soon, the people are getting tired of supporting these bums, there are some grass roots organizations now who are fighting this abuse , and I hope our welfare system will be revamped soon,

Communist Cuba does a great job. The main resource it has to export after ruining Cuba's business is people looking for a job.

Me, I'd rather have CHOICE what I do for a living, OPPORTUNITY. Handouts and holding the human spirit down isn't my cup of BACARDI.

Neither healthcare nor education are free. Not under communism where the people pay for it in their labor, nor in the free world where taxpayers kick in their chunk. TANSTAAFL

Where have you been for the last century? Do you not realize that the Soviet Union, the Eastern block and the failing economy is Cuba is proof that communism doesn't work. Even China has had to adapt to a free market economy in order to survive.

And I could care less about you gettting free health care or free college. I pay for my health care and I put money aside for my children's college. I don't want some communist government paying for it.

If you hate this country so badly that you'd cast us into communism and socialism, then please leave.

Communism is an ideal but it doesn't work in practice.

In communism everyone is equal and there is no differentiating classes, but as a result it creates a totalitarian state where the average people have no freedom.

Its an ideal but doesn't work in practice.

You should read about the socialist governments, especially the Soviet Union, and you will realize that it is not the way you think. Starving people, very little freedom of choice, political imprisonment, those at the top are rich, the rest are poor, etc. etc.

There is more to Communism than free medical. Also Communist countries tax their citizens at 50% or more to pay for all of the "government services".
