Record a demo and get a small local label to sign you. You don't pick your label they pick you. The local label can help you to get gigs and do shows where the big boys may spy you.
Record companies are a business and will only invest i you if they think they'll get a return on that investment. You may have to start small and work your way up.
I know bands that have put out 3-4 albums before getting picked up by a major label and some never do.

Stay in school. Go to college and major in music. Take voice lessons. And then after you get your degree in college. Then go to LA and see if you can get a record deal. Until then your education is very important. Remember you will need something to fall back on if you fail. Good luck and God Bless!

You should visit the record labels and arrange a meeting with one of the assistant managers of record management...you can ask them the best avenues in which to record a demo tape as well as promote your ability to record companies...I recommend dressing in a business casual style (slacks or knee-length skirt with a blouse) in order to appear professional and approachable at the same time...good luck!

you need to ask a musician with a record deal or just sing at small places and im sure someone will show up who is willing to give you a record deal

Call them im sure you can look in a phone book or something to be able to contact them by your "AGE" if your under 18 you could always ask your parents!

well chris brown is with zomba.... and jive has lots of great ppl.... but u have to really think and talk w/ ur parents to see if ur ready....
