It depends what you mean by actress. For one thing, a major celebrity, would sometimes have a rough day with their children because of all the movies, promotional interviews, and talk shows they attend to. It may be very difficult so that is why they sometimes leave them with their grandparents or nanny. That is if you were a major celebrity. As, for like a small time actress as a hobbie it could be simpler because your only scheduled to go on stage for a specific time at a specific day. Having kids is hard enough to handle so if your pushing it to be not there when they need you the most with any job, that's is the hardest.

Yes - actresses have to be in perfect shape and be like what a size 00. For them to go thru a pregnancy not only makes it impossible to get casted while they are pregnant but also for as long as it takes to get back into shape. Combine that w the fact that most actresses have trouble getting work after their mid to late 30's and now you have to choose between your prime years to work and build your career vs your prime years to have babies. I have also heard it is bad news for actresses to be seen out when they are pregnant because then producers/directors see you as maternal or matronly and no-one wants that in a "sex symbol".
Then you have to take into account how short their marriages are and you have a major time crunch on your hands
I think that's why so many of them adopt and then hire lots o' nannies

Should be easier for them...they can afford nannies, and all the best to for their kids (to ensure they turn out like spoiled monsters). They have it much easier than say a single mother working one more jobs to support her kid(s) since the dad has turne dout to be a deadbeat, or even a family with both parental units will typically have a struggle since they just don't make even a fracture of what the typical actress in Hollywood does.

I think it would be exceedingly difficult to be in that profession, since it is so visible to the public. Kids or NO kids. Always being in the public eye, no privacy, everything you do or say is picked apart by everyone, photographers lying in wait for you, can't go anywhere without taking an entourage with you, having to decide if someone is really your friend or just a groupie. Having kids would just make it that much more complicated. I don't think they would be allowed a "normal" childhood.

As a man, I would find it more difficult to have kids than to be an actress.

yes i do think it would be becuase you cant keep your kids out of the public eye..
they have to grow up with everyone watching everything they do..
and the actress would have to juggle a whole second life of working on her movies or tv shows at the same time as being a mother..

Yes and no. With all that money you can bring your kids with you and have a private tutor. The drawback is that they never have security and will not know what it is like to have a permanent home and close friends.

Sure! It's hard to have kids and be a receptionist, too.
