I have been on the phone with AT&T several times trying to figure out why their wireless gateway router modem will not access the internet (we tried on 2 different computers) When I look at the technician details it says "Could not find ATM circuit". I dont know if this is relevant or not. I have disabled firewalls, Norton and reset the modem several times. The modem does "talk" to the computer but when I click on Internet Explorer it comes up with a Broadband link error. Does anyone have any helpful tips? They are sending me a new modem but for now I want to see if I can get it up and running.

Sometimes the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing at AT&T. They tend to send you the equipment right away, and then take their time actually changing the signal so it does not work right away. Do you have 4 or more lights lit up on the cable modem? If you do, then I can help probably help you to get it to work. If you do not, you may have a bad cable, a bad modem, or you may not have it plugged into your computer correctly.
