I'd like to have grown up in an era before cars, tv, aeroplanes, kings queens and politics. But as we're allowed to choose, of course we'd be utterly civilised too :P

I like the Victorian English language :)

I have thought of this many times....because I am Christian, I don't believe in past life's, but I have a huge interest in a few time periods. I am sure that someone 'new age' would tell me it's due to a past life?

But, okay I would love to live way, way back in Cleopatra's time, then in the Victorian era, then in the pioneer days.

Whew! So many to choose from! I would have loved to have been a greaser in the 50's! Then again, I have a facination with the late 1700's early 1800's in southern America. Particularly New Orleans, parts of Georgia and South Carolina...

I like it right now and here. In the Victorian era the vast majority lived in poverty only the elite few enjoyed life.

I always thought living during the Enlightenment would have been cool, if you were rich enough to enjoy it. All that science and literature and philosophy going on... However, I think I still prefer having modern technology (not to mention slightly more equality.) If I had been allowed to pick, I probably would have chosen the present or sometime in the future.

Either ancient Rome or early 19th Century England. My husband ALWAYS laughs at me and tells me I was born in the totally wrong era!

Probably this era, although maybe a little later in it.
As a woman, this era probably is the best for me in terms of freedom and healthcare, although it will probably get better in the future.
