Can a Texas plumbing license be transferred to Florida?

We are thinking of relocating to florida and we wanted to find out if my husbands texas plumbing license could be transferred to florida. Any information on this would really help us.

I believe you have to apply for a new one. It's like doctors have to have state by state medical license.
