It's not weird.
It's refressing to see people celebrate other culters.
Are you of Chinese decent? I did not celebrate myself, but I have to admit I didn't know when EXACTLY the new year was, but now i know,
So I can celebrate next year.

Are you Chinese? I lived in Taiwan for a year before when I was about 7 years old and that was fun there celebrating cuz they give you money in a little red pouch. So it was always exciting as a kid to get so much money every year like but I only experienced once there. So living here what is there to celebrate for as an adult? It's not like normal New years where everyone gets to kiss each other right? Well if you did celebrate then more power to ya!

No its not weird i celebrated cuz im part chinese, and i live in the US. I had alot of yummy food!!! lol
