moving 7,000 refugee's from Iraq to the states?

I hard about this last week on NPR. Basically, there have been more than 2 million Iraqi refugees fleeing the country since we invaded. Jordan and Syria have been taking the brunt of them, and may need financial assistance soon. However, Bush finally agreed to accept 7000 of the most at-risk refugees into the USA.

More power to him. We're the ones who invaded in the first place. This shows that we're taking responsibility for our actions.

Yes, I saw the article. I don't need a link, either. We created this refugee problem and we should shoulder some responsibility to help solve it.
