i am just learning to use my computer and dont understand some of the lingo

More than likely you have your screen saver set to ask for password on wake up. To change this go to your desktop, right click and select properties. Then go to the Screen Saver tab and uncheck "On Resume Password Protect"

Can you explain in more detail why you think it is looking for your password? What do you see on your screen? Do you type in your password? What happens when you do. What happens when you just click cancel or hit the ESC key?

The answers to these questions should bring us closer to the right answer..

shout "naughty computer" otherwise it will be raiding ur snack cuboard nxt if u dont control it early
