From viewing the answers given I realize that cognition is not universal among Homo Sapien Sapiens and if Darwins theory of the survival of the fittest is right a great amount of them are doomed. As a child I wittnessed tornado alley being in the Kansas area and I have grown older tornadoe alley has shifted toward the eastern seaboard. That is called anecdotal evidence and is of small consequence. Now for hard data, research and reports about anthromorphic contributions of CO2 are abundant and documented as well as a matter of record. The increased rate of ice melt at the poles is documented. Now for the genius that states that "cant you tell its cold in some places". Have you taken into account the duration of the cold, that when it starts and ends, the later onset as well as the earlier blooming of items that utilize photosynthesis. Evaluation of the entire ecosystem and not a single focus and is an ability that must be used. That is a fundamental concept of perception and it called intermodal perception or the ability to integrate information about two or more sensory modalities at one time. Every thing does not need to be political or a conspiracy theory. When reality knocks on your door you actually need to know how to answer the door.

YES! I believe the climate on earth always changes. I also believe that the temperature of our planet is related to the heat coming from the sun. That's probably not surprising to most people, but when you tell them that the sun started into a hot phase in 1976 and that there is nothing we can do to control the temperature of the sun they just don't seem to get it. They holler "GREENHOUSE GASES!". They say that individual cars put out tons of greenhouse gases each year, but the math doesn't work out. How can a car put out tons of greenhouse gases when the gasoline we put into it in a years time doesn't equal a ton? That just doesn't make sense. Unless of course you are talking about a gas ton, like in air conditioning terms, but if that is the case they need to explain it to folks so they don't panic thinking we're talking about 2000 actual pounds of gas. Gasoline just doesn't get heavier after it is burned. That's absurd!

Yes the climate changes every season, every year, every century, etc. That's nothing new. Neither does "chicken little", but I guess it pays the bills!

Of course I do because climate change is what causes weather. Oneday millions of years from now the earth is going to flood because the glaciers on the north and south poles are melting everyday and that will be the end of time. that is my theory

Mednonk? (the first responder) is a perfect example that Global Warming is a religion and Al Gore is his god. Climates always change from year to year, hour to hour, day to day, whatever time scale you wish to chose. Does human activity impact climate? That is impossible to say. It is possible that it has a small impact. For those who think we are all going to die because we are producing CO2, I suggest they pray to their Global Warming God and beg for forgiveness and leave the rest of us who don't buy into their religion alone.

Well I think that people are too focused on the fact that it is very warm that they didn't realize it's very cold in some places too. I think it has something to do with the earth's rotation such as the earth is getting closer to the sun in the summer and farther away from the sun in winter.

Well, climate change is a proven fact.

its a total crock
in the 1970s people were talking about global cooling
in a few years the global warming talk will stop soon to be followed by global cooling
and once that happens will someone walk up to al gore and say "I told you so"? :)
thanks
