yes i did that all the time when i was a youngster. you get caught putting any thing on rr tracks these days and get caught its jail time

lol Haven't thought about that for years! Yes. We lived within one block of the railroad tracks. Used to do that. Made sure our dad didn't know we were, he would have kicked our butts.
Discovered if we put some grease under the coin usually you could remove it after it was flattened.

Yup! Back in South Dakota I placed good-sized rocks on the tracks. Its amazing how far they'll fly!
One time put a really big one on it and I almost derailed the train!! =o Haven't done it since... :(

Yeah. My grandparents had a railroad track behing their house and we did that as kids w/Grandma yelling "Git your **** off the d*** track before you get smashed like a pancake. You git flattened, we'll eat you for breakfast!".
