If I have Tiger Woods 2007 for the 360, can I play someone who has Tiger Woods 2007 for XBOX?

That really all depends on the game. The Xbox 360 is more advanced and some games are exclusive to it so the Xbox people would not be able to play with you. Also, there are certain games which are out for both consoles but the Xbox 360 version has been altered to take advantage of the new power and graphics. Certain games like Halo 2 share the same servers so you are able to play against people on the older console but some games have different servers for the two consoles so you are not able to play against people on the other console. It all comes down to the game and the game company.

Im not sure how online play works myself. But it has been my experience that when playing halo 2 there has been players on both consoles, however on say blazing angels I attempted to play online with a 360 along side a person with the same online enabled game for xbox and neither of us could locate the other in the game. I cant backup my info but as it was explained to me for that game and some others the 360 version runs on a different program than the xbox version therefore online play is limited to those on 360 or xbox consoles. Im sure that if you went to xbox .com you could find out for sure wether tiger woods 07 has that feature.
