take a ride through the neighborhood at different times of the day as well as after dark. this will tell you a lot about the area. also don't forget to take a ride through the area on the weekend at both day and night time. you can also pull up california.gov.com and get info on the neighborhood as far as what the houses in your neighborhood cost and who lives in your neighborhood.

I would visit the area at different times and days. If you know the neighborhood where you want to buy and have not seen a particular house with a real estate agent, I will split my real estate commissions with you (up to $5,000) to cover your closing costs.

Your best bet is to talk with your realtor. They know most the areas they work, and they can show you all the rankings and demographics about any particular area. If you don't have a realtor give me call, I can reccomend someone to you. Ron 619-379-2063
