Yes... and sorry to say I did it on purpose. I had to. One of my students (a male, 12 years old), had spent the morning regaling the rest of the class with his understanding of social roles. In other words, it was a lot of "Men can do this, but women can't." Things like... Real men don't do dishes... real women serve their men. Now... parents can tell their kids what they wish, but we all have to learn to adapt. And my classroom is an inclusive learning environment for all. The next day, I ate lots of broccoli for breakfast. Right in the middle of his mid-morning rant, I made my way over near him, and let one rip. The look on his face was priceless. (Luckily for us all... no smell! :)
We then (as a class) had a wee chat about social roles and how perspectives may differ. Went over well. Good thing. Not everyone would see that as a 'teachable' moment... or method!

Yes, the old guy teacher! We were watching an educational movie when suddenly two things happened; the music and dialog stopped, and thinking the silence would cover it, he ripped a BIG one.
Of course he looked away and pretended nothing had happened!
He found it difficult to maintain his dignity the rest of the semester.

True Story
Freshman year Biology class, I was breathing like Darth Vador and it got so loud that the Teacher stopped his lecture in mid sentence and looked around to see who it was.

i didnt do it, but this guy i had a crush on did (well every girl loved him) and we were in the middle of an exam and he just blew it. we all looked around and he said "couldnt hold it in any longer" and everybody laughed

In class no, I was homeschooled. In the doctors office yes, but my son was sitting on my lap and they thought it was him...I just kept my big mouth shut...lol
