I agree. The same concern should be given to ordinary travellers in regular domestic journeys. If they plan security check for Samjhauta exp in future, do so for all trains in India first. The day the govt learns to take care of its own citizens, we will prosper.
I disagree with the responsibility factor. Pakistan cannot have it both ways. They also have to take the blame here. A more noble gesture would be if they compensated Indian victims and India compensated Pakistani ones. That would be true-cooperation. Its not the money- its the spirit that counts. The same Pak government refused to allow IC-814 to land at an airport in Pakistan and worse, even switched off the runway lights at Karachi/Lahore in the dark, which would have been even more disastrous for passengers. How do people forget this easily?

It is yet another way to extend helping hand to peace between the countries, both countries have started to realise that real solution is peaceful co-existence I hope that all faction can think in the same way, this type of thinking can only bring peace on earth.
Past is past and the line is drawn now, how far back one would like to go, is a big issue here so take it as good beginning and hope no body will have to be compensated because such atrocities will not happen in future.
Let us all wish for peace on earth and good will to man.

No damaging emotions. that is no longer all Indians blaming Pakistanis just some. So why could we Pakistanis act like those few? the two India and Pakistan are under terrorist assaults, rather of scuffling with with one yet another we could continually share the discomfort. after all, we are one soil. If Quaid-e-Azam and Ghandi must be pals why can not we? maximum human beings have family participants participants residing in the two India and Pakistan so how will we hate ourselves? My heart is going out to each and all of the folk who died in the assaults and their households.

The lives of everyone should be equally valuable. If a person commits a crime, he gives up much of that value, but otherwise? Equally valuable.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of the victims.

the bare truth is, the lives of all nation's citizen, except that of
India are more valuable. Because, there are still a few people who believe that you can win over terrorism by the ways of non-violent Mahatma, Buddha and others like them. When you travel in a sinking boat with people who believe that the boat is without any hole, you too sink/sail with them. Prepare yourself to get sunk !!
