Do you mean backyard or indy? Backyard's simple, find a neutral place to build a ring (that way if someone gets hurt, they can't sue the owner of the property if there isn't one) and have at it.

For an indy, I'd suggest taking out a loan, as all people do with small businesses. If that doesn't help, start fund raisers, or pool your worker's money to lease a building and a ring. After the first show, if it is indeed successful, just use your earnings from ticket sales. I forewarn you though, there is no real money to be made in independent wrestling. Most indy guys either wrestle multiple promotions to stay afloat or hold down other jobs when not wrestling. Few big places break through and become big in their areas, and therefore get more money for their shows, but that has been extremely rare since the mainstream abolishment regional wrestling. Good luck to ya though, I've always dreamed of running a fed of my own.

What is this a backyard thing? Or is this a more legit thing? I'm going on the assumtion its the former.

1) Lay down the law. Do not let them dictate what is going to happen and who gets what. Your the booker, not them.

2) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T LET THEM KILL THEMSELVES. Outlaw any moves that have someone land on their heads. Don't have anyone jump off anything more then a foot or two off the ground. Constantly monitor their conditons through out the matches and afterward. And never alow sharp of heavy weapons to be used in the ring.

3) Work out a schedual with guys playing multiple parts. Get some masks or make up or wigs or something to make this happen. Typicly, the backyard wrestlers always wants to be the big winner. If you got half a dozen or so guys always wanting to be number one you have a problem. You need guys to lose so your going to need to have your workers pull double duity.

1. a good education 2. good finance 3. if you want to run a promotion you would need a good education 4.a safety net if your promotion fails you could start all over from scratch. 5. atleast a scholar in business. 6. alot of money in the bank for the promotion to grow. 7. for the promotion to grow you would need to broadcast it. it takes alot of hard work to run and start a wrestling promotion.good luck. and one more thing if your promotion succeeds never i repeat never go onto the stock market where vkm can buy it. and where you business can go bankrupt. so be careful.
