Yeah, I'm not sure where you live, but there are clouds at night here quite often.

Doh!!! Are we in Simpson territory here or do you just not get out much. You may not see clouds at night if you don't go out when it is dark but believe me the clouds are there 24/7. When you wake up in the morning and the ground is wet - as in -it has been raining during the night - does that not give you a clue. Oh yeah - there are clouds at night.

There are clouds at night but a lot of times it is too dark to see them. If you look at the moon you can sometimes see the clouds passing over it much like the sun. The best time to see them at night is during a full moon.

There are clouds at night. If you live in an urban area, you can see the light from the streets and what not on them.

Who told you there weren't? There are you just can't see them very well. Why do you think some nights you can see the stars ad moon and other nights you can't? It is because of the clouds.
