Where do all these chain e-mail and "repost or regret" things on myspace come from?

Do the people make them up, is there a website to get them? Are they just things that are made up on the spot for fun? Same goes for the text messages and IM's that are similar.

I think alot of people make them up, but there is a site www.forwardgarden.com that has some of them to. I am sure you could put myspace bulletins in yahoo and come up with a few hundred sites that make them.

I think that people just make them up in there spare time. My friend did one once and it came back like 3 months later. It is just people that are very bored and looking for amusement.
