I definetly would not call his mom and get her involved. It will only make it much worse and he'll probably beat your butt longer and harder for telling his mom. Unless he's abusive I'm sure you gave him a damn good reason to beat ya. Just be nice when he comes home and take it without struggling, maybe he'll have mercy on you and not do it so badly

It's unfortunate that you have an abusive relationship. If you have to fear for your safety--emotionally, mentally, physically-you need to get help. The first person you need to call on is yourself. You are so much more deserving of a better life than what he has to offer, even if he is 'financially secure.'
And if there are children, you need to get out. Your first responsibility as a mother is to take care of yourself and keep your children safe! If you have nowhere else to go, call the police and have them take you to a women's shelter.
I hope you realize that you are a strong, courageous woman if you do so.

have cold beer ready for him to open when he arrives.
have remote control near his seat.
have footrest near his feet, with slippers if applicable.
have ashtray near him if he smokes.
get up and get him a beer when he is half done with the first.
cook him dinner.
and
above all else
leave him alone.
That's all guys want, and women will never understand it. Feed me, sleep with me, leave me alone. That's the key to ah appy relationship. Know when to shut your yap and just "be."
Also, call his mom any time you like. Get her involved, sure, why not. I mean, you're not listening to a word I write here, and very likely don't listen to a word your man says, so go nuts! Definitely call mom right now, get her over there.

Why would he beat you? theres NEVER a good reason for women or men to beat there partners and yes women do abuse men also. If your that afraid leave the house and leave him for good if you fear its going to happen its happened before so it will happen again. I would never turn my daughter away from something like this no matter what she had done.

no, you are adults and should be able to work things out without getting the parents involved. The more people involved the more drama, the longer it takes to resolve. Ir you messed up, apologize

I think getting her involved will do nothing but prolong the inevitable. Figure out why you are willing to live with someone who you are afraid of. What is it inside of you that you feel makes you have to put up with this?

No, you should get out of there, go to a local women's shelter or a trusted friends house and then talk to a police officer or a crisis shelter. There are people out there who can help you. Don't put yourself through this, you're worth more than that. Be safe!

Yes. You can call his mom and get her involved...but for the best result call the entire family and your neighborhood...lol
