Some one told me as long as you meet OSUs minimum requirements ( 2.0 gpa, and test scores) then, by law, you will be excepted as a TRANSFER student. Is that true???? It's a state school so it sounds possible but it also sounds too easy??

Below is the direct link to their requirements for transfer students in the U.S. Looks like it is true, if you have enough hours. For more information, check on the other link as well. Good luck!

no, this is a lie. first, there is no "law". It may be a general guideline that the school uses, however no one is ever guaranteed admission by law. 2.0 is extremely low. Anything below 2.0 is probation at most schools, so I don't know if they accept EVERYONE with a 2.0. Many schools say that they will only look at applications that meet their MINIMUM requirements, but this doesn't mean that they will accept every fool with a 2.0 that applies. Also, they will take in account your SAT score, the classes you took, and your hs grades. Finally, the word is accepted, not excepted. Take care.

If you want to know the facts, I advise you check their 'official' website which will outline what the requirements are for new students, transfer students, foreign students, etc.
