I tried to search up the story on google.com but surprisingly, I found nothing. Does anyone know the story, whether they learned it before or if their parents told them the story when they were little?

Not really sure, I always thought it was because the pattern on the moon looks like a face. I read most of the Green/blue... Fairytale books and Grim's but dont recall any stories about the man on the moon.
