Ok i was driving on a very busy road today,stuck in traffic and spotted a girl at the bus stop with a child about 3 years old.The child was happily running into the road and "playing" with the cars whilst the "mother" looked on.I was livid ! What is wrong with these so called "parents" Even though she looked as thick as two short planks,surely they have some idea of basic safety!...If it wasnt against the law i would have taken that poor child myself.What sort of a life is that child going to have with a dumba*ss mother like that?

Yes Heppt i have a 4 year old child and i certainly dont let him run into the road and watch !!!

I always say walk a mile in someones shoes before you make a judgment on their perspective. Given there is no good defense for people who neglect there children but at the same time one poor decision (though the out come could be tragic) is not a fair assumption that the person is a bad parent. My sisters daughter drowned in a friends swimming pool when she was three. My sister had left her in the care of some friends while she went in to get lunch. Apparently she hadn't know these people that well because it was only when my sis asked about her girl when she came out did they find her floating in the pool. One stupid mistake and it was tragic. My niece spent months in the ICU but luckily she made a full recovery. My only answer to this is to pray for the child's safety. Also if you are truly concerned you might offer time to an organization who spreads the word of child safety and other organizations which provide free or discounted services to parents who have child care issues. Just my opinion though

oh wow i now comprehend what this international is coming to you blame the moms and fathers for what their children do and its now no longer the children fault i'm a determine and that i have were given taught my children ideal from incorrect yet each and each and every toddler is an self sufficient being they make up their personal suggestions all we moms and fathers can do is handbook them and want they make an effective decision besides the undeniable fact that the impression from the music the video games and the flicks and from associates play a more beneficial advantageous position why does a toddler shoot up a school per chance its using reality children have bullied the toddler who shot up the school and they snapped lets blame the children the guidelines have carried many thoughts about children who've killed themselves why using reality they have been bullied on the internet and in college through diverse children so some distance as stealing vehicles bypass hmm that would want to be alot of causes using reality the children are dumb interior the first position so no we dont blame the video games and doing a stuiped stunt hmm diverse the time its using reality the friends stress them in to doing it so No we moms and fathers are easily no longer irresponsible or negligence now no longer anybody blame the video games the songs the flicks we blame the children and diverse children for being dumb and not in any respect using their brains so in case you want responsible sombody blame yourselves for now no longer using your brains

It's always possible that this wasn't her real mother...
Could have been any of the following:
1) Sister
2) Grandmother
3) Foster parent
4) CPS social worker (their talent for neglect and abuse is outrageous and well documented)
5) Just some lady watching a kid play in the road
Or it could have very well been a dumb parent, of which there are many nowadays.

The child is going to have the same or a worse life than the parents if he survives or is far more intellingent than them. What can we expect of families that decide to have 4 or 5 children to live on benefits?

I think people that are like that didnt really want kids when thay did! so thats why they dont care what they do. the kid someday will control everything no matter what it is .she'll pay later for not doing anything about it. kids like that control anything and everything when they get older or they hate their parents for not careing what they did cause in some cases its effects their lives when their older. I feel sorry for that kid for her mom not caring, the mom probley wanted somthing to happen for some attention. thats my thoughts on bad parenting.thank you dalein

I totally agree with you!
And a lot of babies with mom or dads, who are not dressed for fit weather.
Babies with no summer hats, no mitts, coat on or just diaper on!
One day went to the swimming pool, and I saw a mom with newborn baby in hot tub. (Still had clamp on cord! NO LIE!)
She never had enough brains to not take baby into hot tub. She had to be told my life guard.
Crazy just crazy!

some people just have no clue, when it comes to kids, sometimes i think the kids have more brains than the parents.
but there is not alot we can do about it. . the gov should clamp down on bad parents.... parenting classes or somethink along that line

my god, yes you do get them, i don't agree with bloody Gennie goose, i am a mother myself, and my son is well taken care off, i have a good paid job that provides for him, i give him the most love and affection that any child would need. yes i agree with you i would be mad myself, in my job i see this daily and have to deal with it, but not every mother should be tarred with the same brush

When my children were small i used to have reins for them, i am surprised that nowadays no one uses them any more. I can not believe that some parents let their children run around like this, do they not realise that children are precious.
