I know what you're going through!
My husband and I were TTC for almost 8 months and it finally happened. We just found out we are pregnant. However, it did not happen until I had pretty much given up.
I did ovulation monitors, took pregnancy tests every day, etc. It made me absolutely nuts! Only when I decided to stop worrying about it, standing on my head, having intercourse certain days of the month, etc., did I get pregnant.
My advice is to calm down and breathe. Make an honest effort to stop worrying about TTC and find something else to keep you busy. We bought a puppy and training him for the past month helped keep my mind off of TTC. It worked!
Good luck to you! Don't worry, it will happen! You just have to relax! :)

you aren't infertile unless you have been ttc with no results for at least a year (medically). I have been trying since November of 05. I have an ovulation microscope because i am irregular that way in the long run i will have spent less than buying the strips all the time. (fertilefocus.com). I recently went to my obgyn for tests. I found out I have PCOS and my husband is going to have a semen analysis done also. Once I finally start my period again I will have to get another test done. I wouldn't worry too much. Sometimes it can take a little while after you get off birth control. I wouldn't subject yourself to all of the testing unless you need it. I am sure that it will happen for you especialy since you are regular. It is normally easier for you to get pregnant when you are regular. Good luck and maybe this will be your month! A good thing to remember is stress palys an important role in your body and your healthiness. The more you stress it has a negative impact on your body and can throw its chemistry all off. You can go to your obgyn and let him/her know you are ttc and have them do a basic physical check up on you also. Hope that this helps!

I was reading somewhere that you should have intercourse a few days before you fertile. If your periods are regular you should be fertile 14 days from the first day of your last period which lasts 3 to 5 days usually when your fertile, I heard you can only get pregnant when your fertile, or right before your fertile because sperm lives in you for 72 hours. I was reading also that there is only a 20% chance each month you can get pregnant, some people it takes one try and others I have heard taking up to like 3-5 years, if your having problems still after a year I would talk to a doctor about it, but you gotta give it time, also if your trying to concieve your stressing your body out making it harder to concieve, I heard that once you stop trying thats when you get pregnant, goodluck! Also look for chances in cervix mucus can help you pin point when your fertile.

My husband and I have been trying for almost a year with no luck but i had a reason see i wasnt getting a period I went a little over a year without a period with no probable cause, I had several tests done which all came out perfect, anyways i think im getting closer my doctor prescribed me a provera challenge 10mg for 7 days to see if that would induce a period and i got the my fisrt period in over a year jan 20th-25th, then my doctor suggested i try progesterone cream each month for the last 10 days of my cycle and to my suprise i started my period again feb 16th so that made my cycle 27 days:) i am so happy, i think im getting closer and closer to conceiving....If you want some help try taking pre natal pills it is advisable for woman who are trying and who are pregant to take them
folic acid also helps woman when trying to conceive...their is also herbal extracts that you might want to try they are very inexpensive and you can get them at a health food store 1 vitex(chasteberry) which you can look up online and it will give you all the info you need on it...2. red paspberry...3 red clover
good luck at lots of baby dust to you

It's not uncommon for the first few months off the pill to not ovulate or to have difficulty getting pregnant. Technically as soon as you're off you can get pregnant, but sometimes it takes longer for it to happen. Just be patient, four months isn't that long. I know that's way easier said than done, but you're probably fine. I would recommend taking your basal temperature to determine if/when you are ovulating as the urine tests can sometimes be inaccurate if your body is attempting to ovulate but doesn't succeed you will still see the hormone surge that the tests detect. Good luck, and just try to relax.

When I got married, we wanted a baby pretty badly. What we did was use the Billings Ovulation Method which helps you chart your fertility patterns so that you can get pregnant (or avoid getting pregnant) without any kits or pills or anything. It's really easy and very stress-free... try www.woomb.org for info.
Or, you can email me and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have!
It's worked for us! We just found out that we're expecting baby#2 - just as planned!!

The more you stress and try, the least likely for it to happen. Stop talking about it, worrying about it, or even thinking about it. Just enjoy this time with your hubby and it'll happen. When I tried and tried, it was 3 years until it happened. With my second one, I didn't even give it a second thought, and within 4 months I was pregnant. Less stressing out = BABY

Maybe your husband isn't producing enough sperm also your egg can only be fertilized for a 12 hour period every month. You should probably visit the doctor
