We replaced the alternator and found what we thought was bad, was not. Checked the wiring harness/relay, the battery, everything.... Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this won't hold a charge? It runs when jumped, I can run the heat, but not headlights, rear defrosted, heated mirrors... Help? My mechanic is breaking me! Thanks!

The voltage regulator is IN the alternator and the entire alternator was replaced (twice) as well as teh battery. When the lights are turned on, it begins to make a squealing sound, even more so when the heat is on too ..... help? Many thanx!
