when you dream of flying, do you ever those that when you fly you cant get off the ground to high and everyone is chasing you. or the dreams where you're flying but you seem to land in trees. what do those mean? and lately i've been having tornado dreams. me and my ex husbnd are with our children in a closet as we hear the tornado roar around us. before the tornado hits we can see it zig zag in a field. what could that mean?

That is funny! I have the same dream (about the tornado, minus your exhusband and kids, put my family in your place). We are usually in San Antonio at an uncle's house and my spouse is nowhere to be found. But my wacky motherinlaw and someone else is with us. Oh and get this, the uncle lives in a turret house! (not for real, just in the dream). And I get mad because my spouse is nowhere to be found! He tells me it is because I feel that I cannot rely on him in tough situations. In your case, maybe it is because when there was turmoil in your past and your exhusband was your husband you could rely on him to take care of you and your children? And your life right now seems chaotic and "twistery" (that is not a real word, don't use it in a conversation) that you are trying to gain some sort of comfort. Good luck and God bless. I don;t get tornedo dreams but....
I ALWAYS get those ones where you aren't actually flying but are trying your hardest (usually being chased like you mentioned)......I run and run and run, the faster I run I do get off the ground a LITTLE BIT higher but keep plonking back down....run and run again....off the ground a little bit.....but like you said, can never manage to actually get up in the air!! Its SO annoying!! I'd love to just once get off the ground properly in one of these dreams!! (I have them all the time like that!)
