I wish I could open my own small business. Problem is I don't want much competition so a new idea or one that is not so popular would be great. I don't really know what I would be good at, just that I really want to be my own boss.

I would appreciate any information. Thanks!

The first secret to success is to have a dream and the second is to have a white hot desire to be successful, if you have these two things you will stand a chance of major success.
Your problem is you don't know what you want to do, so you will have to find something where you can have your own business and still have a major support system behind you to help you on your way.
Unfortunately that does not exist in conventional business, you will always have competitors who will not want you to succeed.
But don't despair there is a business opportunity which has been endorsed by the billionaire Donald Trump as probably the best in the world today especially for its ethics, honesty and integrity.
With this opportunity you are the person in charge but you also have a proven system to follow, with a support team who will go out of their way to help you be successful.

I have my own business as a Discovery Toys Educational Consultant. Discovery Toys, Inc. is the leading direct seller of educational toys, books, and games for children, with about 37,000 Educational Consultants in the U.S. and Canada. As you can see, the developmental and educational toy business isn't even close to being tapped.

Discovery Toys strives to enhance the lives of children by providing developmentally appropriate products that make learning fun and to offer parents flexible home-based businesses as Educational Consultants that allow them to spend more time with their children.

I have found this to be a rewarding business and I have also made a lot of close contacts and friends. If you would like more information, see my website at www.DiscoveryToyslink.com/ToysRme

Two tack shops in the same area would not be a problem...especially if your shop offers a different product line (western) or more services than the other shop. A friend of mine was so excited when her tack shop added a service washing and repairing horse blankets. If you are thinking of starting small, you could start with the washing & repairing service, add some retail, and then expand into an actual shop.

eBay is a good option. You can work on your schedule and do as much as you need or want to. You can choose your product line. You can fit eBay in around interviews and other part or full time jobs as a source of income and build it as you go along.

You may find this guide helpful in getting started on eBay. It is written from my own experience from selling for 4 years. I've sold about 12,000 items during that time. I've learned alot along the way by trial and error and hope to save others some time and mistakes! I didn't have anyone helping me, so I hope I can help others do this, too.

I haven't made a million dollars, and don't promise that you will. But, I have made several thousand dollars doing this and been able to work at home. Plus, it is fun!

This guide explains what kinds of things to sell, where to find them, how to use eBay, about shipping, and to get started TODAY, with no financial investment.

Best of luck to you!

Dear Sunshine:

Its nice to start a business of your own, but then you should be positive. In every business, there is bound to be some sort of competition. You have to make a start for anything to succeed. Those who have tasted success in business, were all first triers. Please identify what would sell well in your area of business and then start in a small way and forge ahead..

Trust yourself, trust others and build your confidence levels.

May the "SUN" shine in your new venture..........soon

You sure will be your own boss.............ONE DAY.

Good luck dear friend...
