in highschool i was on the honor roll every year. now in college, im finding it hard to get even a B in most of my classes. I go for extra help & tutoring. I feel like i try, then i get a D or F on an exam. I dont wanna work, or go to school anymore. i think i might be depressed

should i drop this semester before i seriously ruin my GPA. I wanted to go to med school, but i feel like theres no hope for me...

Sounds like depression, check with your doctor. There are all kinds of therapies to help, it could be that the winter months have gotten you down and you need some sun. While I can't tell you what to do, my daughter dropped a semester because she was "burnt out" from school...going to school from preschool through college is a long time to spend in a classroom. Anyway after her "break" she went back and was better motivated. Maybe you do need a break. But check with your doctor first to make sure it's not a medical problem.

You do indeed sound depressed. Consult a psychiatrist. If your grades are bad this semester then look into dropping out provided that you can do so without prejudice to your other GPA. Good luck.
