Bill Gates worked for his money. He does work and donations every day of his life. His wife is involved as he is in helping the world be a better place. Oprah does just as much. You just don't hear about it. Gates does a lot more than we are aware of also.
Oprah put 40 million in her school in Africa. There is a special on T.V. later this week.

The point to this answer is why should you feel you or anyone deserves a give away from anyone of a million dollars? Go out and earn it. They earned their money and they are helping out the entire world with their money to places that could never do this on their own. YOU CAN DO IT ON YOUR OWN! You can accomplish anything you want to. Continue looking for hand outs and you will never do anything worthy in your life.

Hmmm, the world is at what 5 Billion.

Divided by 1,000,000

5,000,000,000
divided by
1,000,000

that would leave him with about 5,000 dollars for himself and he earned that money. You really think he is stingy because he does not give that money out. That would include every crook, every pedophile, every axe murderer, every person who would simply waste the money, etc.

Let me put this into context, are you telling me that if you worked as hard and were as successful as Bill Gates, you would give all but 5,000 away and expect to live on that money???

Did you know - He is giving 99% of his wealth to charity and only leaving 1% for his son so that he is not spoilt but has determination to succeed.

He is coming to the end of his life so he is no longer trying to make money but is now pursuing more charitable causes.

Even if he did, inflation would meet it.
It would cost 3000 for a cheeseburger.

In Germany this happened after the war, you got your wage in a wheel barrow, and went straight round to the shops before the prices went up again.
People also used to wallpaper their rooms with bank notes, it was cheaper than buying wallpaper.

if everyone in the world had a million dollars then nothing would change you still would have the poor and the rich because the market would compensate for the extra money and prices of everything would go up..

Apparently Bill Gates gives away vast amounts of his money to charity. He and his wife also have their own charity (I don't know what it's called) and they both do a lot of humanitarian work. He obviously only gives to the very needy!!!!

Then everyone will be a millionaire and Bill Gates will no longer be the richest man on earth.

His net worth is about 25 Billion.

There are more than 6.5 billion people.

Do you really think giving everyone less than $4 will make that much of a difference?
