Keeper league yes, one year league not worth where he is being drafted because injuries are going to make him miss time this year.

NO! Liriano will not be a decent fantasy player for 2007. He won't be a player at all. He has decided to take the season off and work on fixing his arm. He won't be ready to pitch until October and, by that time, the season will be over. Do not waste a pick on him this season. He will be a very valuable player in the 2008 season, just wait until then...

"Twins pitcher Francisco Liriano hopes he'll recuperate from elbow surgery in time to start throwing off a mound in October."

No. Liriano is likely to miss all of 2007 recovering from Tommy John surgery last November. He is expected to be back at full strength in 2008.

No don't waste a draft pick on him this year. He had surgery and will not be back until about October of this year. He has not started throwing yet. If he does return this year he will not anything like last year. The twins will not rush him. Use yor draft pick for someone who can help you this year. The twins will have him on a pitch count and if anything looks wrong they will probably shut him down for the year.

He's expected to be out for the 2007 season. He should be back in 2008.

I don't trust people that did good last year and only last year. Because Liriano may have done good but now he has something to carry with him. People are expecting him to do good. So I will not pick him unless he is my only choice.

Not worth the risk right now. Optimistically he may BEGIN throwing again around September. He will most likely not contribute much until very late in the season, if at all.

Yes very decent. I would not rank him one of the best just yet but he is easily decent. Not a lot of starting pitchers that are going to have better numbers then him for sure. Have him on your team if you can get him in a late round.

NO. He won't be around for a while. He had surgery and he probably hasn't even started throwing yet. I'd say hold off on him. ESPN.com said that he won't return til October.

No way. Unfortunately, he blew his elbow out last year. He is done for the year. I had him last year, and he rocked. Up until blowing his arm out, that is... Look for him in '08!
