Since they went to the Rosebowl they have really sucked even when they can recruit top prospects. Will USC own the Pac-10 forever?

Yes, Stanford will be good again. Give the coach (Harbaugh) a full 4 years before you make an judgment though. At an institute that maintains its high academic standards in recruiting, it takes time to build a winner. And it would prove difficult to have as many injury problems as you had last year.

It's unlikely Stanford will ever be a football dynasty or even win a National Title soon, but the Pac-10 is cyclical. USC's run can't last forever and will probably end in the 2008 season.

You have nowhere to go but up!

Don't expect it any time soon. They're up against three recruiting powerhouses in their own state.

And I don't know where people got the idea that they've ever really been that good. They've only had 5 seasons with 9 or more wins since 1970.

Give Stanford about 5 years just to become respectable again.

Well they had a decent coach who had a really bad year so he was fired. I don't know who the coach is now. Seriously though if the coaches don't have time to put their system in place then no theywill never be good again.
