Hi there. There is nothing free you can get from Microsoft, besides their readers .. just trails, betas and retail software you need to buy.
You can use their trials for a limited period of time tho.

That's for Microsoft Office Pro 2007 for 60 days.
NOTE: Oh just to point out, saving in 2007 version format will not be to be read in lower versions (like 2003), you'll need a converter also available on the M$ site.

You might be interested in another software named OpenOffice.
It is free and legal. You can download it from www.openoffice.org
The size is not that big.
What is good is that it gives you an option to save your files in doc, xls, ppt formats so that you could open them in ms office.

Well you can't get it for free but you can download openoffice for free!!!

You can go to microsoft.com and download 30 day trials of this software....
Stealing is illegal.
Just buy it if you want it longer than 30 days.
