I was really bad today and now I don't know if I should just accept his punishment and prepare myself now for the spanking he's going to give me, or if I should try to make his favorite dinner and clean the house better so that he will be too pleased with me to want to punish me?

OPTION ONE: It sounds like you're in what's referred to as a "domestic discipline" relationship, where you've consented to be held accountable by your husband for wrongdoing. If that's the case, then you should do whatever's expected of you before he gets home, and no more or less. Don't try to get out of it by impressing him with a meal, because a good disciplinarian won't be swayed by that. They will still give the earned punishment because they care about you and want you to do better. By the same token, not doing what's expected could make things worse.
OPTION TWO: If this is actually a prelude to lovemaking, then do what feels good, and to heck with the rest.
OPTION THREE: If neither of the above scenarios apply, then you are in an abusive relationship, and this shouldn't be forced on you. Talk to him about it and tell him that you won't permit him to control you that way if it's not how you'd want to be treated by him.

I really can't tell from your question if your husband is actually going to punish you with a spanking or what! BUT!!! If he is really going to administer corpal punishment for something you have done, then it's high time that you got the he** out of there and hire a good divorce lawyer! No woman or man has to put up that kind of treatment in a marriage! That's not what marriage is all about! Now, on the other hand, if his telling you "you're going to get it when I get home" is refering to something like role play and you both are in agreement and enjoy it, then just sit down and wait!

You should make his favorite dinner and clean the house everyday regardless. You shouldnt do it just to get out of a spanking that you obviously deserve. If you were bad and your husband feels like you need to be punished then just suck it up and take your spanking. It cant be too bad, I dont think anyone spanks harder than my husband and I'm still alive!!!!!

Gee - wouldn't that depend on what you did wrong? And if you actually get PUNISHED by your husband, you have greater problems (or kinky weird stuff going on) then you should probably have in a marriage
